Budget Override and Add Funds

Budget Overrides and Additional Funds play pivotal roles in budget management, empowering organizations to adapt to flexibility, changing circumstances, address unexpected needs, and pursue strategic initiatives that surpass initial budget constraints.

Override Flag: By activating the budget "Override Flag" the project gains access to the total 100% allocated monthly funds. Refer Budget Concept for more information.

1. In the CloudThrottle Console, navigate to the "Cost Management" menu.
2. Click on the "Budget Overview" menu to navigate to "Budget Overview" Page.
3. Select Budget you need set "Override Flag"
4. Click on "Override" Button
5. Check "Override Flag"
6. Click to "Update" button
7. ~You can only set override Flag only for Current Month

Override Amount: Add an extra amount into the project for a specific month in addition to the monthly allocated budget. Refer Budget Concept for more information.

1. In the CloudThrottle Console, navigate to the "Cost Management" menu.
2. Click on the "Budget Overview" menu to navigate to "Budget Overview" Page.
3. Select Budget you need add "Override Amount"
4. Click on "Override" Button
5. Enter "Override Amount"
6. ~You need tp Set "Override Flag" before adding "Override amount"
7. ~This amount adds on top of current Budget Amount
8. Click to "Add" button

Add Additional Amount: Add an extra amount into the project for a specific month in addition to the monthly allocated budget. Refer Budget Concept for more information.

1. In the CloudThrottle Console, navigate to the "Cost Management" menu.
2. Click on the "Budget Overview" menu to navigate to "Budget Overview" Page.
3. Select Budget you need add "Additional Amount"
4. Click on "Additional" Button
5. Enter Start and End Date
6. Enter Additional amount to distribute between entered dates
7. ~This amount adds on top of Budget Amount, this is not mod - Refer Budget Concept
8. Click to "Add" button

CloudThrottle provides the flexibility to modify the base budget. Throughout the budget's duration, CloudThrottle allows up to five modifications to "Additional Funds", adjust the budget amount or modify the budget period.
