Prior to creating a Preset Schedule, it is important to establish a list of holiday schedules specific to your company. This list will outline the periods during which you prefer to shut down or limit resource usage. Refer create Holiday Schedule article
Create Preset Schedule:
- In the CloudThrottle Console, navigate to the "Cost Optimization" menu.
- Click on the "Preset Schedule" menu to navigate to Preset Schedule Page.
- Click on "Create" Button.
- Enter Schedule Name, Schedule Type, Time Zone, check "No Holidays" or pick Holiday List
- Enter Up time from Monday to Sunday in 24Hr Format.
- Click on Create Button.

Accurate management of Cloud resources relies on the use of time zones in scheduling. By selecting proper time zones, resources can be scheduled correctly based on their respective local times, eliminating the need for time conversions and minimizing confusion.
Update Preset Schedule:
- In the CloudThrottle Console, navigate to the "Cloud Account Setup" menu
- Click on the "Preset Schedule" menu to navigate to Preset Schedule Page.
- To update a specific record, navigate to the "Action" column in the table, click on the "three-dot" icon, and select the "Edit" button.
- Update the schedule and click on "Update" button to save the changes.
Delete Preset Schedule:
- In the CloudThrottle Console, navigate to the "Cloud Account Setup" menu.
- Click on the "Preset Schedule" menu to navigate to Preset Schedule Page.
- To update a specific record, navigate to the "Action" column in the table, click on the "three-dot" icon, and select the "Delete" button.
- ~In order to delete a used "Preset Schedule", it is necessary to unmap it from the "Resource Scheduler" before proceeding with the deletion.
- Confirm the Deletion.
